Our New Years resolutions are often aimed at rearranging our surroundings to experience external peace. Without internal peace however, no matter how we furnish the world around us, we will never achieve the peace we are truly looking for.
Buddha explains that the key to transforming our lives is to transform our minds. Through the practise of meditation we are able to become the person we wish to be: more dynamic, confident, kinder, more loving, peaceful and happier.
In this half-day course, through talks, guided meditation and discussion, we will explore how we can use meditation to connect to our inner potential and thereby really change our lives.
Claudia Steinert will be your teacher. Claudia has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She is appreciated for her clear and heartfelt teachings and practically demonstrates how we can incorporate Buddhist meditation into our daily lives to solve our problems. Claudia currently teaches the Monday evening Foundation Programme course in Craighall Park.
