ABOUT
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which teams make a movie - write, shoot, and edit - in just 48 hours. On Friday night, 23 November, teams drew a genre from a hat. They were then given a character, prop and line to include in their films. On Sunday night, 25th November, in a wild dash to the drop off event, the films were turned in - and teams celebrated (mostly by getting some sleep!).
Just a couple of days prior these were only ideas in the heads of our filmmakers - and now they have come to life.
The world premier screening takes place at Ster-Kinekor Musgrave Centre, Durban, on Saturday 8 December at 5pm - and the project is concluded at the official Awards Ceremony, where anyone is invited to buy a ticket and come and celebrate with the winning teams.
