Please join us for an evening of Art, Music and Food to accompany the ‘Foraging Photons’ exhibition by artist Oliver Barnett.

Oliver’s love for global music predates his journey into Art. It is the signature of West African roots music that first drew him to a new life on the continent, before settling in love with the elemental landscapes of the Cape Peninsula. 7 years working for global music label Putumayo, broadened his love of this universal language, during which time his ear has been tuned to an emergent sounds that blends and unites acoustic and electronic sounds and rhythms. Today it is these sounds that often accompany and unify the processes of nature immersion and image making.

Come to celebrate this pairing of music and art, an aesthetic entanglement of organic and digital..
