A 1 day beginner & intermediate photography workshop
If a camera is the photographers paintbrush then light is his (her) canvass.
We spend so much time trying to understand our expensive cameras that sometimes we overlook the fundamentals of great photography - smart use of light.
Topics covered will include:
• Properties of light
• Natural & Available light
• Artificial Light
• Light Controls
• Lighting for effect
• Lighting Ratios
• Shaping Light
• Painting with Light
... and more.....
There are demonstration exercises we will do in the workshop and also set you optional challenges to try afterwards.

If you have a camera, a camera flash and a method to trigger your flash off camera then please bring them along.
