Entrepreneurship To The Point: In conversation #EntrepreneurialWellbeing

Thu Nov 22, 18:00 - Thu Nov 22, 21:30

...Property Point’s Entrepreneurship To The Point session on:

Extreme stress, lack of sleep, constant uncertainty, social isolation, over indulgence of caffeine, impression management…If you are an entrepreneur these are all things you know well. Unfortunately, these are also things that have been glamorised regardless of the negative effects they have on the entrepreneur’s mental health.

It is impossible to operate at your best if your mental wellbeing is not taken care of. So what are some of the practical techniques you can use to really relax over the holiday season and when you come back next year? At this session we will have an honest conversation with an entrepreneur who has gone through difficult times when it comes to mental wellness and gain valuable advise on how entrepreneurs can take better care of their overall wellbeing.

Lesley Donna Williams, CEO, Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct

Lesley is CEO of Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct, a Wits University initiative and the largest digital innovation hub in Africa that aims to propel digital skills and entrepreneurship through collaboration with provincial government, corporates and entrepreneurs. She is also owner of Lesley Donna Williams Consulting (Pty) Ltd.

Lesley founded Impact Hub Johannesburg in 2010 - the first in Africa and now one of over 100 Impact Hubs in major cities around the world. She has served on the global Association Board and has supported several teams in their development process.
