This ticket entitles you to 1 entry into the SouthYeasters People’s Choice Homebrew Competition that will be held at our November meeting which will be at Beerhouse on Long on the 14th November. This is a hoppy beer competition, so beers of any style, as long it is hoppy, may be entered. Although this competition is primarily focused on beer, other homebrewed beverages such as cider, mead etc. are also welcome.
In order to enter you need to fill in the details of the beer you are entering during the checkout process, and then on the night you will need to bring at least 4 bottles of the beer to the meeting. The beers will be tasted by all of the attendees of the meeting who will then vote for their favourites. The beer with the most votes is crowned the winner. Entering this competition will also earn you points towards the SouthYeasters Homebrewers League Competition which runs annually and comprises a number of events throughout the year. The brewer who accumulates the most points throughout the year will win first place in the league.
Entry into the competition costs R30, however all paid up members of the SouthYeasters homebrewers club will receive free complimentary tickets to enter the competition.
