Summer, sun, friends, family and fun! Join us for one big Afro-Brazilian fiesta! Experience our own rendition of an Afro-Brazilian carnival on Saturday 24^th November.

The festival marks the 3rd anniversary of this collaboration between Market@theSheds and the Embassy of Brazil and as before, it promises to be a very popular addition to Tshwane’s social calendar.

The Afro- Brazilian Festival event focuses on the synergies between Southern Africa and Brazil and provide a showcase of local and Brazilian music, art, food, design and entertainment.

With African influences and Brazilian flair – you are guaranteed a Saturday experience to remember.

Samba to the fusion of grooves of Soul Brazuca, Simba Ci, African Rhythm and Tidal Waves. DJ Chievosky will keep the party going until 8 PM.

Furthermore, you will be entertained by a soccer kids, some world class Jiu Jitsu, a Brazilian dance presentation by the students of TUT, the South African Capoeira foundation and more Brazilian dance fusions and dance classes.

As per usual, you can purchase unique South African items made by local craftsmen and artists.

Market@thesheds boasts great food with cuisine inspirations from all over the world – you are sure to keep your taste-buds satisfied. Enjoy Mozambique, Portuguese, Indian, Brazilian, Italian and South African food all under one roof (literally).

Set in a trendy multi-space precinct of 012central, Market @ the Sheds is a monthly gathering spot where people from all walks of life can experience the true colours of the capital! Local fashionistas, art lovers, foodies, tourists, trendsetters and socialites of all ages find themselves indulging in delicious street foods and craft cocktails, whilst collectible designer goods spread curiosity, and the smell of hand-made leather adds to the spice of it all!
