For the Love of It aims to bring you the finer things in Life in an environment where you can relax in style, appreciate great music, live artists, exquisite drinks, food and the sultry summer sun. 

Join us on Sunday, 18 November 2018 from 12-6pm at Signal Gun Wines and Hoogeberg Brewing Co. as we not only celebrate Life, but also infuse even greater love into FTLOI by giving back generously to the communities in which we live, work and play. To honour the adventurous spirit and legacy of the late Dugald (Duke) Cloete, the founder and visionary behind For The Love of It, proceeds of all FTLOI events will enable his unbridled love of Life to be shared even more widely, leaving the world a little better every time by supporting a cause that resonates with many of us. This year, it's all about #EDUCATION for us.

A brand rooted in passion and a deep appreciation for all that Life has to offer, FTLOI is all about spreading the love for great music, exquisite wines, brews and tantalising cuisine, while giving back and making a difference by purchasing a ticket and showing up to share in the joy!

Previous For the Love of It events have led to the FTLOI community growing in numbers every single time! Past unforgettable host venues include Beyerskloof Wine Estate (Stellenbosch), Riot Brewery (Woodstock), Allée Bleue Wine Estate (Franschhoek) and Stellenbrau Brewery (The Wood Mill, Stellenbosch). This time, we invite you to head out to Signal Gun Wines & Hoogeberg Brewing Co. in the Dubanville winelands, another first for FTLOI, bringing you the best of both worlds!

Proceeds of FTLOI Round 6 will be donated to Anna Foundation, a registered NPO that has addressed the educational and social needs of rural children across the Western Cape since 2005 in order to build positive self-worth and self-respect through the 3 R’s Programme: Reading, Running and Righting, check out www.annafoundation.com. Signal Gun Wines, Hoogeberg Brewing Co. and FTLOI crews are putting together a Sunday Fun Day, afternoon experience that will tantalise your taste buds and blow your mind!

There will be some seating (tables, bean bags) as well as umbrellas and trees offering shaded areas on the day.

If you prefer or love to laze on lush lawns, feel free to bring your picnic banket along and get your FTLOI chillaxin' game on.

WINE | CRAFT BEER | BUBBLY (MCC)

Sip away at any of the excellent offerings available to you!

Exquisite wines and handcrafted craft beers and MCC and Signal Gun's unique signature Lime & Berry infused wine cooler called 'CLIMAX' will be on sale to enjoy there and take home! Wine glasses will be available from the tasting centre.

CHEESE / MEAT PLATTERS | FOOD TRUCK CUISINE

Be whisked away on a culinary adventure as delicious cheese & meat platters and lunches will definitely be served!

MESMERISING MUSIC | ARTISTRY | BEATS

Smooth house grooves will be flowing from the decks of accomplished DJs. Soulful house music, combined with incredible live artist performances can only mean a fabulous day that will live on and linger long after the day is done, without a doubt, leaving you craving the next unforgettable FTLOI experience! FTLOI is what family's all about!

TUTORED WINE TASTING

Signal Gun Wines & Hoogeberg Brewing Co. offers FREE tutored wine tasting sessions (5 wines) at "Die Stal Tasting Room" to any guest purchasing 4 bottles of ANY wine. You also get a COMPLIMENTARY branded stemless wine glass! There are 2 wine tasting options (R50 or R80 payable, only if no take-home wine is purchased).

For a FREE TASTING, all you need to do is buy and stock up on some of the award-winning wines to enjoy this festive, summer season, and who buys only 4 bottles when the festive season is upon us?!

Optional: "Die Stal Tasting Room" also offers patrons wine- and perfectly handcrafted beer pairing options if you're in the mood to try something more adventurous like Nougat Pairing, Chocolate Pairing, Turkish Delight Pairing or Beer & Biltong pairing (ranging from R90 - R120 pp). Again, if you buy at least 4 bottles of wine, the tasting fee will be deducted and you only pay the difference. It's a yum factor no-brainer!
