Documentary Screening of Professional Skateboarder Thalente Biyele

Camel Rock Restaurant will be screening the uplifting and inspiring documentary of local professional skateboarder Thalente Biyela. Having grown up on the streets of Durban, Thalente discovered a passion for skateboarding that held true to his name. Noticed, and mentored by a solid support of people who believed in him and by using all his drive, determination and courage, Thalente was uplifted to a life in Los Angeles as a professional skater. Tony Hawk, one of Thalente's key mentors, features in the film alongside many other strong skateboarding legends.
