ABOUT
On 18 November 2018, Megan-Geoffrey Prins collaborates with Nathan Zachary Lewis to present a first fundraising recital in aid of obtaining funds to assist Lewis with his studies. The recital takes place in the Fismer Hall, neatly nestled in the Stellenbosch University Konservatorium which is located on the corner of Neethling and Victoria Street, Stellenbosch. The picturesque town is an ideal location to plan a day trip to enjoy the heartbeat, the sights and the cuisine of the idyllic town.
In the Moonlight is a recital presentation of an array of tenor arias, as well as art songs. The entire program encompasses themes of love, death, life, and dreams.
The performers are proudly South African and unique in their history. The tenor, Nathan Zachary Lewis collaborates with the internationally acclaimed and sought after pianist, Megan-Geoffrey Prins. This newly formed duo will present works by Faure, Duparc, Schubert and Vaughan-Williams as well as operatic works by Donizetti, Verdi, and Gershwin.
Tickets will be available at the door as well as SnapScan facilities. A donation jar will also be available at the door for those who feel inclined to make a larger donation to assist Lewis with his studies.
