ABOUT

Come and join us with your kids age 8-14-years-old to get an introduction into the world of coding by letting your kids build their own website!

Students can join us any time from 10:00 - 12:00 for as little as 15-minutes as they get an introduction into building their first website using HTML & CSS. Please bring your laptop and some headphones if you have, you'll be able to chat with a tutor as they guide you through your project. There will be some drinks and snacks too!

Students will be building a website on my country, the United States! So get prepared to learn some interesting facts and add some cool pictures to your website, all the while learning to code! Not only will students get to work with HTML & CSS, they will also have a chance to get familiar with JavaScript and program their first game. (Real life languages!)

This free program is sponsored by SkillUp (skilluptutors.com) as they are launching a new service aimed at teaching younger kids to code, but focusing on STEM content and building confidence so they might pursue opportunities in the future.
