Lance Herman - singer-songwriter living in Cape Town - teams up with vocalist Bonj Mpanza to present a 1 hr show of Lance's original songs & compositions. Song titles include "In the River, In Reverse", "Streets Tonight", and "Rollercoaster" - a lean display of lyrical songwriting, vocal harmony & minimalist arrangement. Straight No Chaser is a rising jazz / music club on the Cape Town scene. The venue is intimate, limited seats - booking essential to confirm your spot!

Lance Herman Bio: 


Lance Herman is a musician & writer based in Cape Town, South Africa. Lance has performed in various guises: as singer of indie-alternative band Fly Paper Jet, one half of electro folk duo Ginsburg & Herman, and most recently ELIEZER, a multi-disciplinary, performance project carried out on an Artist Fellowship at the Gordon Institute for Performing & Creative Arts. In addition, Lance has been involved in the scripting & performance of theatre project The Traveling Salesmen, directed by Rob Van Vuuren & has recently had his poetry published in Literary Journal New Contrast. Lance holds on MA degree in English Literature, from the University of Cape Town.
