Entreprenruship To The Point : Womens Month Debrief (copy)

Fri Sep 28, 10:00 - Fri Sep 28, 13:00
WORKSHOP 17 Sandton

This free, small group session is an opportunity for you to tell us what you would have rather spoken about during this time, Examine the realities of day-to-day life as a women entrepreneur and meet like-minded women.

The conversation starters:

A. Work-life balance: It used to be a buzzword – but is this not something that both men and women have to strive for? Why is it only discussed at women's events?

B. Access to opportunities. The system in which business is done in South Africa is fundamentally patriarchal, what is the true price of penetrating the ‘boys club’? What have been your experiences and what would you advise other women.

C. Women-for-women? Whose job is it to open doors for women and are women in leadership roles really doing enough? D. What should we actually be talking about during women's month?
