Get Eddie Zooming Again

You've all met Eddie "Zoom" Sandham at some point or another. He's been your stage manager, your tambourine player, and your drummer. He's been your camp mate, your style guide, or your "oke with a truck". You've seen him on stages around the country including Decompressions, the Octopus Garden, and 'Yes Please To The Temple Of Rock!".

Eddie's been going through a rough time recently, and just after we thought it couldn't get worse, he got diagnosed with breast cancer on September the 16th. He's been for his first consultation, and will be going back for an ultrasound on the 25th September to see how bad it really is. We'll know the answers to all the questions on the 3rd October.

There's a lot of concern for costs around his treatment, but for now his main worry is for his 14 year old son Kayode, whom he raises as a single parent. Work has been slim pickings, and he's been making ends meet as best he can, but the truth of the matter is that he needs a financial and moral boost.

There's two things you can do:

2. “The Rockerfellas” has managed to allocate a bunch of tickets to their afternoon show at BIERFEST GrandWest on Saturday 29th September. These tickets are being used to help Eddie with his treatment costs, and getting his truck back into working order, so that he can support himself and his son Kayode. Be the good guy!
