Jake Gunn is a blues-rock musician hailing from the northern suburbs of Cape Town. After discovering rock ‘n roll at an early age, he was inspired to start playing guitar and worked tirelessly to improve his skill. Since the start of his musical career, Gunn has teamed up with fellow guitarist Devin Smith. Sharing a love of music and complementing each other’s guitar playing and vocals, they have been doing gigs around Cape Town and tours up the Wild Coast for the last seven years. Audiences can expect to hear original material as well as covers of songs from the likes of Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. Gunn’s soulful brand of blues-rock, often infused with reggae, is bound to entertain and impress.
