ABOUT
Welcom to the GTP's first Urban Trail Run.
Hit the ground running with the Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP). Register today for the newest off-road event on the Cape Town urban trail running calendar. The GTP Urban Trail takes runners from the Bellville central business district (CBD) to the Tyger Valley Centre and back again.
The event features a 5 kilometre family run and a 15 kilometre run on a that route links the beautiful green spaces in Bellville. The event is open to all trail runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
The route is fairly even and has a mixture of road and trail running with two water tables on the route. Please check the map in the tab above for the route.
Registration will be in Tielman Marais Park from 6.20 am. The 15km race starts at 7.00am and the 5km starts at 7.30am.
- Prizes will be given out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runner of the 15km Route only.
- Win a one-night stay at the Durbanville Hills Protea Hotel in the luck draw, held after the race
- Each runner will get a water wise plant as medal.
