ABOUT
Plumstead Rusoord in collaboration with Dementia SA, Liberty Faith Ministries & DMR are hosting a n Bike Run on 27 October 2018 to raise awareness for Dementia in South Africa. Dementia is a fast growing illness that are diagnosed every 3 seconds in the world. We want to educate, train and support people into understanding this illness and teach them how to identify and treat those with the disease.
The Bike Run will have 2 starting points:
Northern Suburbs:
Macdonalds N1 City
Southern Suburbs:
My Bar, Castor Road, Lansdowne
Gathering time will be 08h30, leave 09h00 for Plumstead Rusoord, 1 Birmingham Road, Plumstead
Registration will be at both starting points as well as at Plumstead Rusoord.
Goodie bags will be handed out at registration points.
The Bike Run will coincide with Plumstead Rusoord Basaar and the following will be on offer at the venue Food Stalls(Breakfast Buns, Boerewors Rolls, Vetkoek & Curry Mince, potjieskos, burgers and many more), Live Entertainment, Craft Market, Childrens entertainment with qaulified carers to look after them, Bar.
