Thor Rixon:
Enigmatic and industrious, Thor Rixon has taken South African electronic music and moulded it, revved it up and dressed it down. He has spent considerable time soaking up Berlin, performing extensively around EU & SA, releasing music on Get Physical, Laut&Luise and Activia Benz, collaborating with a range of diverse artists, and generally pushing the sonic envelope.
He brings energy and inventiveness to every floor or stage. Each of Thor’s live performances are unique, incorporating improvisation and live instrumentation. Grass-fed live sets are characterised by spirited performances; Thor consistently delivers quality productions matched with masterful mixes. This multi-instrumentalist brings a dynamic performance to every atmosphere.

PURE:
Meet the neo-soul artist with a punk-rock background:
Trusting ourselves enough to speak our own truths when others would have us stay silent is no easy task. Born to Somali and Swati parents, vocalist PURE is a rare artefact of cultural intertwinings, walking in the world with her entire body as her work of art. A woman of medium stature, her striking exterior is always stimulating to the eye. With pieces of silver peeking out from tiny crevices in her body alongside indelible lines steadfast under her skin, words escape her like butterflies. Where most of us would retire our edgy attire for more “maternal” garb, Purity has embraced her features. Every outfit is an opportunity to share an idea, or at the very least a moment of shared delight at its quirkiness. “When creating I sometimes feel like a vessel through which many other voices can transmit their messages. I sometimes get the sense that creating isn’t even about me, but about connecting those voices with the people that seek them."
