Blackcurrant Kitchen Studio presents a First Thursday Unique Dining Experience with Top Chef South Africa, 2016 finalist, Chef Ayabonga Gope. 

Chef Aya worked as a Sous Chef at the Deck House in Cape Town before participating in Top Chef South Africa. He has since embarked on a solo career as a private chef, regularily cooking for intimate occasions, clients from abroad, corporate functions and bespoke events.

Chef Aya is also the curator of unique dining experiences where he hosts dinner parties at conceptual spaces. This idea is to create a platform for people to network and cultivate such networks.

First Thursdays are synonymously known for bringing people together through art, food and cultural events around Johannesburg. Blackcurrant kitchen studio presents Chef Aya who will be preparing a 3 course meal paired delicately with wine.
