CityROCKtober Festival

ABOUT

CityROCKtober is SA’s first indoor climbing festival. We’re hosting an "open to anyone" climbing comp with cash prizes for lead and bouldering, for male and female (R5 000 cash per category… you could win R10K if you win lead and boulder), prizes for age categories and spot prizes for spectators and competitors.

THINGS TO DO

• Chow down at the many food stalls and beer garden including Clean Cuisine and Hazeldean Breweries
• Enjoy a full day of live bands (Christian Baartman, Zebra, Ember & The Capitals), a DJ and ending the night with Veranda Panda
• Automatically be enterd into the raffle to win cool prizes
• Watch the competitors battle it out in the lead and bouldering walls
• Gear sales from your favourite climbing brands such as Petzl and Black Diamond

13:00 - Christiaan Baartman #2 (45 min set)

13:30 - Quali round 2 finishes

14:00 - Spectator Competitions start

15:00 - Juniors Prize Giving

15:15 - The Capitals (45 min set)

16:00 - Lead Finals

18:30 - Boulder Finals

20:00 - Zebra

20:50 - Prize Giving

21:15 - Veranda Panda

ENTRY TICKETS

R50.00 CityROCK Members Only Admission per person online, R90.00 at the gate on the day

Discounted tickets for CityROCK members only. Membership cards will be checked at the door.

Includes access to all spectator Comps, high wall climbing and bouldering, food and drinks stalls.

Gear rental is excluded. No entry into the CityROCKtober climbing competition but you may climb the routes and problems after each round.

R100.00 General/I want all the fun Festival Admission per person online, R150.00 per person at the gate on the day.

Festival Day pass for non CityROCK members aged 5 and up. Includes access to all spectator Comps, high wall climbing and bouldering. Gear rental is excluded. No entry into the CityROCKtober climbing competition but you may climb the routes and problems after each round.

R50 Parent/Grandparent/Spectator Only Festival Admission, R90 at the gate on the day.

Festival admission for parents, grandparents and spectators of competitors, watch them compete! No access to partake in Spectator Comps, no climbing.

**CITYROCK MEMBERS WILL STILL NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET**

There will be no usual CityROCK scheduled activities on the day. Bouldering will be out of bounds for spectators for the whole day.

Everyone entering the gym will be asked to sign the appropriate Electronic Waiver Form, whether participating or watching. For anyone under the age of 18 the Minor Waiver will have to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
