The Conference brings together rising young professionals and budding entrepreneurs from across Africa, business leaders and industry professionals for a one-of-a-kind bright sparks convention. The two dynamic days will see business growth presentations, mentorship interventions, innovation competitions, leadership and innovation forums, and professional networking, rising talent from around Africa showcase technological innovation, professional skills and business acumen.
The AYTIC2018 focuses on issues affecting entrepreneurs, from practical business support to advice on how to generate business ideas, visitors to the expo can expect to get first had information from a number of exhibitors. An event for young entrepreneurs to expand their brand, commercialise innovative technology and contribute to socio-economic development of their respective communities.
The Conference aims to guide youth to economic participation through accelerating innovations from idea through training, mentorship and incubation to scale. The Conference will further guide Africa’s young entrepreneurs into new industries through start-ups, private sector involvement and enabling government absorption of new ideas.
During the two-day Conference, experts will lead discussions on a wide-range of topics, from the role higher education institutions play in the development of young entrepreneurs to mentor programmes. Successful young entrepreneurs will also be at hand to share their stories with those who are keen on starting up their own business. Further, the Conference provides key opportunities to network with key players in the business sector.
The AYTIC2018 comprises five critical sessions spanning youth entrepreneurship innovation from idea to scale, namely; Entrepreneurial Development for Economic Growth, Africa Youth Economic Opportunities Roundtable 2018, The Female Entrepreneurship Roundtable, Young Growth Hackers Forum and the Rural Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium.
