The Cape Innovation and Technology Initiative is hosting an advantageous Workshop designed to teach the skills that will help increase sales and profitability through an increased understanding of the sales process. The Sales Workshop will be lead by Karen Wessels.

Without realizing it, Karen described herself with this quote, being a prominent female entrepreneur in South Africa. She comes from a strong sales background and showed the first signs of entrepreneurship shortly after she realized her passion for sales. Karen Wessels is the co-founder and CEO of VA Connect, Africa’s largest virtual assistant platform that provides outsourced administrative support; and is also the co-founder and CEO of SnappSales, a company that generates quality sales leads for its clients.
Prior to establishing her companies, Karen spent over 10 years in different sales, marketing & admin support roles. This experience has equipped her with the invaluable skills required to run her multiple international business ventures successfully. To date one of her biggest achievements has been the founding of SnappSales, a highly sought-after marketing agency that focusses on finding quality sales leads for its clients.
Karen has been invited to host various masterclasses with the likes of Business Day TV and select startup accelerators across South Africa. Thanks to her passion for sales and business insights learning from the ground up, her take on business and entrepreneurship is always welcomed and appreciated by the audience. Karen loves engaging with people on different levels, threading together concepts and ideas to make business and life better. Being an avid knowledge seeker, she is always on the outlook for new business ventures to invest her time and energy in.
