Gelong Thubten (Gelong is a title meaning ‘monk’, and Thubten is his name), has been teaching mindfulness meditation in the corporate world for more than 20 years, and is a world leader in the field.
Thubten specialises in teaching mindfulness meditation internationally, in businesses, hospitals, schools, universities, prisons and addiction counselling centres. He works with major clients such as Google, LinkedIn, Lloyds Bank, Deutsche Bank, Siemens, Accenture and Clifford Chance. His work is often featured in the media, and he is well known for bringing mindfulness into the workplace, teaching people how to integrate it into their busy lives.
He explains the benefits of mindfulness in terms of:
