ALIDA Session 2
Awesome Living Intelligent Digital Art (ALIDA) is a digital art workshop using Raspberry Pi to explore the basics of artificial intelligence.
It is art. It is digital. It is alive. It can sense. It can move. It can recognise certain patterns and behaviours through physical sensors which can sense movement, light intensity and human touch. Then one can let it come alive in various artistic ways as soon as it senses the AI trained movements or interaction by a person.
The ALIDA workshop will run in two sessions, both session are the same. There will be a nominal charge of R50 to reserve a spot in the workshop. The kit to make ALIDA will cost R 1, 460.00 and can be taken home after the workshop is complete. Some workshops will have the supported kits, please contact the Festival for more information.
Workshop is being run by The Pi Guy and is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (GIZ).
A laptop is required to participate in this workshop.
