TEDx Talk: Dare to invent the future

TEDxUniversityofPretoria is an independently organized event curated by a group of students at the University of Pretoria (UP) who want to bring the brilliance of TED to the student body of Pretoria at large. This event will recreate the unique experience found at TED, where the world’s leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about. The fundamental goal of TEDxUniversityofPretoria is to foster expansive mindsets and spread great ideas. We believe that ideas can change attitudes, lives and ultimately our world and thus aim to provide a platform that encourages an open mindedness for sharing knowledge. 

The event will be held at the University of Pretoria, Hatfield campus, on the 19th of September 2018 from 18:00 PM to 20:00 PM with the theme Dare to Invent the Future. 

We aim to attract a diverse group of attendees willing to learn from one another, both as speakers and as spectators, who will leave the conference driven to creatively improve our collective future.
