ABOUT
Baritone Luthando Qave will be in Cape Town for a one night only concert of opera favourites on Saturday 8 September, at 19.15 in Erin Hall, Rondebosch.Luthando recently finished the last season of Barber of Seville with the Danish National Opera, and returns to Europe in September for a new production with Kungliga Opera before singing Silvio in I Pagliacci for Gothenburg Opera.
The evening features some of his favourite arias by Rossini, Verdi, Tosti, Njeza, Donizetti, Puccini and more and he is joined by friends bass Phelo Nodlayiya, tenor Mziwamadoda Nodlayiya, and the ever popular Gentlemen's Ensemble - all accompanied by Albert Combrink on piano.
There will be wine and juice available in the interval and a chance to talk with the artists after the concert.
