Ndim Ndim Home Cinema

The “Ndim Ndim Home Cinema” project brings the historic bioscope experience back to life by screening film in the homes of people living in townships – places that are often far removed from access to the great multiplex cinemas. Come and share in this amazing experience!

Projectors are set up in the living rooms of several pre-selected homes and approx. 10 guests are allocated to each house. The critically acclaimed documentary 'Whispering Truth to Power' will be simultaneously screened across the homes, followed by a lively discussion with the director over a shared lunch, prepared by the host. Thus the experience not only brings people from different spaces and demographics together but the hosts are also financially empowered. Please note: Lunch not included in ticket price.
