A worthy relationship is an agreement that challenges and supports both participants. Top Chef South Africa, 2016 finalist, Chef Ayabonga Gope, is collaborating with Sugarbird, a Cape fynbos Gin inspired by the renaissance of traditional Gin, for a pairing of grand fermentation and culinary arts.

Chef Aya will cook a 3-course meal, designed to pair perfectly with Sugarbird Gin as he experiments with various flavour notes. Guests should expect to pick up herbaceous flavours of rooibos, honeybush, rose geranium and the Cape May Flower in paired dishes.
