At Erfdeel we believe in making lasting jewelry about people's stories. This fundraiser is nothing different. We are involved with Little Stomas because we saw a little miracle girl born. Born with Cloacal extrophy (OEIS Syndrome), she is one out of 500 000 live births in the world. It is the most severe birth defect of the lower abdominal organs, compatible with life. The rectum, intestines, genital tract, urinary tract and bladder merges during development in the womb and in severe cases some of these organs are absent.

This 6 year old face complex challenges, yet to outsiders she seems like any other toddler.

Currently Little Stomas in conjunction with her parents are communicating with specialists in Texas to address the need for more complex and extensive surgery.

The following set of Sky Topaz and silver earrings and ring can be won through the raffle tickets. The stones in the earrings are 8mm round Sky Topaz and in the ring is a 9mm x 7mm emerald cut Sky Topaz. The shank of the ring is hand engraved. The winner's ring will only be made after the draw to enure that it is made according to the winner's ring size. The set is valued at R5000.

The draw will take place on 1 September 2018 and tickets can be bought until 6:45 on the morning of the 1st.
