Altmetrics are real-time data that provide a record of how research has been shared, discussed and reused online. These data can help you understand who is talking about a piece of research, how often they are discussing it and what’s being said.

During this webinar, Charlotte Perry Houts, Implementation Manager, and Josh Clark, Marketing Executive, at Altmetric will give an introduction to the data and demonstrate how they can be used by researchers and institutions to:

About the speakers:

Charlotte joined Altmetric as Implementation Manager in September 2017, shortly after moving from San Francisco to London. She is responsible for helping new customers get implemented with Altmetric products, especially Badges for showcasing the attention to published research, and the Explorer for Institutions database. She is passionate about Open Access and data sharing.

 

Josh joined Altmetric in February 2016 as Marketing Executive having previously worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles for a number of academic publishers. At Altmetric he is responsible customer-facing messaging and promotions including managing the content for the website, blog, webinar program and social media channels as well as event coordination and running the Altmetric Ambassador program.
