A unique opportunity to celebrate South African's rich and varied culture and history. The Hout Bay Ingoma Choir will perform live African choral in the historical setting of South Africa's oldest wine estate, in front of our very special guest, 85 year old anti-apartheid struggle veteran Denis Goldberg, one of only two surviving Rivonia trialists, tried alongside Mandela in 1963. Denis will share a bit of his unique perspective and wit, and you'll hear a bit about his legacy project, the House of Hope, a new arts and cultural activity centre for youth from the underprivileged communities in Hout Bay, to which all proceeds of the event will be donated.So come and sip Groot Constantia's finest, as the fireplace crackles and the acclaimed Ingoma Choir sings their other-wordly beautiful harmonies by candelight.
