Sales Funnels - Sales Pipelines - Sales Strategies... What do these really mean?

 

If you could develop a very simple, actionable, and effective Sales Strategy, that will allow you to generate Explosive Results, what would that be worth to you?

 

I often get asked by entrepreneurs and business owners for a simple system that they and their teams can follow that will allow them to generate explosive results in sales. I believe that sales is a very simple game made complex by our own Minds. Part of the complexity is not always knowing what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, to generate the best results possible.

 

Have you ever been really excited to get out and generate income but were stopped dead in your tracks because you just didn't know what actions to take?

Have you ever sat down and generated a sales plan and then become overwhelmed because it was just too complicated to follow?



When developing a Sales Strategy or Sales Pipeline there are three critical steps that you need to be able to undertake:-

 

STEP 1:

Understand that sales is a Numbers Game and the link between action and results is driven by a clear understanding of the keys sales numbers. Key numbers such as conversion rate, conversion percentage, and conversion outcome, are essential to developing a good sales strategy. Measuring and then systematically tweaking these numbers creates clarity and focus.

 

STEP 2:

A good Sales Funnel is a progression of simple actionable events or tasks that once carried out will lead to a predictable result. Being able to link your actions, events, and sales tasks to your key numbers is essential in driving good sales results.

 

STEP 3:

Creating a simple one page Sales Strategy that one can follow on a daily basis which links sales numbers to actions, allows you to create quick results. Too many sales plans or strategies are very complex documents that gets stuck in Excel spreadsheets and Word documents inside a PC. The best business or sales plan is a one pager that comes in a diagrammatic format and is stuck up on your office wall. It can be viewed daily, Followed Daily, Measured Daily, and most importantly, Drives Accountability Daily.
