What do you get when you bring in a seasoned Reverend with clear knowledge of what it is to be African beyond the melanin, another who is a Research Author, who has done extensive work on witchcraft amongst other subjects, and an Inyanga who is a seer and can read into individual spiritual gifts?Answer: A deep conversation on terms and facts which is informative and empowering to lift the veil of ignorance and fear and give back the power of choice through knowledge.
An average Google search of information about Africanism, leans more on melanin and unfair practices. Information on the spiritual practices with an authentic African tone, is minimal and unsatisfactory. On the other hand there are deep frustrations on understanding Spiritual Gifts most of which are given my our ancestors. Ways of being as an African are diluted by religious practices and at times rubbished to demonic or witchcraft.
