Jazz on Bree THE LEGENDS SERIES presents in association with Music Exchange and Youngblood Art Gallery an Ovcorp Media & Entertainment production Richard Ceasar Live.
Richard Ceasar is one of the forefront jazz guitar players in Cape Town.
He has been playing the guitar for 30 years nonstop!
His influences are, George Benson, Pat Martino, Pat Metheny, Mike Stern etc. In April 2007, he released an album: a joint venture with Bassist, Greg Higgins, who produced and co-wrote a few tracks. The title track “Come back to me” and “Sweeter than honey” has received favourable airplay on most popular radio stations.

He has been a professional musician for over 30 years, and has travelled extensively, playing and touring abroad in Australia, Dubai, the Comores Islands just to name a few. He has regularly recorded and performed with Chris Schilder, Tony Schilder and Jimmy Dludlu. He also recorded a song called “At the g-spot”, which is still doing well on the dance floor!
His latest offering is a fantastic interpretation of classic soul and jazz favourites, with a few notable Cape flavoured originals! Richard Ceasar a legend in his own right has released countless albums such as: “Welcome into my world”,” The best thing is you”, “Reflections”. “I Go Crazy” and “Amazing”  

An avid and affectionate family man that remains grounded with family values intact. Jazz on Bree is honoured to showcase a local Cape Town legend as part of the Legend Series on the 256 May 2018 at the iconic Youngblood Art Gallery in Bree Street Cape Town.
