For those of you who wanted to explore the city and learn more about her people, we are offering a very exciting opportunity to engage a little deeper. Warwick Junction is a unique space exhibiting the only markets of such size and diversity available anywhere across South Africa.
In collaboration with Asiye eTafuleni, we are offering a fascinating (and safe!) walking tour with the traders of Warwick Junction markets. After the tour, Richard Dobson and his team from Asiye eTafuleni will facilitate further discussion and reflection about the people and the inner workings of the market. As a team, we had the privilege of this experience and can guarantee you that there are incredibly transformative stories to be found here.
This session will happen on Saturday, 12 May at 9:30am. The cost of this engagement R120 and will be used in full to renumerate the tour guides. Space is very limited, so don’t delay!
