In June 2017, devastating wildfires wreaked havoc on large areas of the Eden District along the Garden Route. The extremity of the fires was exacerbated by the uncontrolled spread of alien plant species, the impact has been devastating not only on an environmental level, but on a social level too.
Join us for an evening of stimulating discussion led by ecological experts around how we can more effectively manage our natural resources, prevent future wildfires and get active in 'Regreening the Garden Route’.
