The Event

Welcome to our very fist Transformational Detox Retreat in Europe. This retreat will be held on a small island in the south of Norway, located between the towns of Lilesand and the larger Kristiansand. The retreat is located 20 - 30 minutes from Kristiansand Airport Kjevic (KRS) or the Kristiansand Train Station and then a few minutes by boat with stunning views and calm waters to reach our Manor house on the island of Agerøya. The magical setting has private access to a swimming dock and beach a few minutes walk from the retreat. The island has no roads or motorised vehicles. We have a large private garden with a fruit tree orchid by the fjord with outside and inside fireplaces. The island used to be a small centre for fishing and trading but now mostly has holiday houses with very few permanent residences.


We will finish this retreat with a bonfire and a celebration of the summer solstice. This is an auspicious time for transformation and resetting your life on the physical, mental, emotional and physical levels.


Transformation

The things that allow me to be me are:

Transformation is magically easy. The manifestations of our inner being are true on the cellular, physiological, quantum physics, ego/mind and on the spiritual levels. We do not have to try to change, we just have to shake up what we think is ‘me’ and let it go, creating space and and allowing the transformation to just happen.


We use various techniques, intuition and insight combined with a deep love and acceptance for each person and their individual healing journey. Together we embrace whatever arises during the retreat, to help you let go of what no longer serves you, make peace with the past and step into your highest potential.


Some of the techniques that we will be working with on the retreat are dynamic/active meditation, holotropic breath work and emotional/trauma release exercises, group coaching and integration to aid in removing or working through your current emotional, mental or physical blockages, stress and physical or emotional trauma. When we deal with these we are able to move into a life full of joy and ease and are able to regain a deeper insight about ourselves and maintain a healthy and balanced life.


Juice Fasting

Fasting has long been practiced by so many who have come before us who have fasted as a tool to access their deeper selves, to cleanse the body and purify the mind.  This has a strong effect on us as we begin to open to a deeper connection within and without.  The result is that we start looking at our lives and where we are with a fresh and clear vision.  With this clarity it becomes easier to guide and direct our lives into the lives of our own choosing.

Our deeper selves are accessed, channelled through the practice of yoga, meditation, walking, transformational workshops, and juice fasting.

YOGA

While yoga is a useful tool for exercising and stretching our physical body as well as nourishing and tonifying our organs and assisting with the detoxification process, our yoga practice is for the mind. It helps to calm and balance our mind utilising the breath as our primary focus. You do not need to have practiced yoga before, our classical Indian yoga is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate practitioners.

YOGA NIDRA

We use a method of guided mediation called Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known. Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain making it suitable for beginners but it is also highly beneficial for regular meditators. The practitioner rests comfortably in savasana (lying down), and is systematically taken through the layers of self, leaving us with a sense of wholeness. Some of the many benefits include stress and anxiety reduction, the promotion of emotional wellness, the development of self awareness and greater consciousness, increases concentration span, improves sleep and with regular practice can lower blood pressure along with a healthy lifestyle.

EMOTIONAL RELEASE

Our bodies hold memories of all our experiences including all kinds of traumas. So we may be aware of certain events in our lives and we may have dealt with them at the emotional and psychological levels, but we haven’t necessarily dealt with them at the physical level. We will learn how to release these emotions that are stuck in our bodies which ultimately and powerfully hold us back from truly changing the way we see, think and feel about ourselves. When we release these old emotions, we develop new neural pathways that lead us to deeply caring about and loving ourselves which brings about a fresh energy to live our lives the way we want.

This is a deep cleansing transformational retreat which promises not only to cleanse your physical body, but your emotional body and mind also.  You will have an opportunity to experience the best of Norway’s Natural world as well as cleanse at the deepest levels of your being.  You will come away from this retreat with clarity of mind and a way to move forward in your own life.
