ABOUT
Women In Leadership is the Businesswomen's Association Student Chapter's premier, flagship programme for 2018 and seeks to challenge perceptions around modern leadership of young women today. The programme will force participants to ask such critical questions such as
Am I who I think I am?, Am I growing as a leader? The difference between inspiring your team and motivating, how to ask the right questions and influencing for social change. The programme will also pull together different influencial leaders in different industries in order to discuss some of the skills and attributes they believe young women need to have in order to be effective leaders in the future. The programme is a 3 part series that will see participants receiving certificates and the chance to attend a day of Practical Leadership Exposure with partners of the BWA such as Coca-Cola Beveridges South Africa, Standard Bank and other partners. Participants for Practical Leadership Exposure will be shortlisted and details of criteria will be discussed at the first engagement.
**Transport to and from the venue will be provided from Wits and from UP only. Refreshments will also be served throughout the day.
