Join Phumla Lurayi and Enos Tshabalala of In-touch Youth Development And Community Justice for a guided walk through the southern township of Orange Farm.One of Joburg’s youngest townships, Orange Farm was established in 1989 and was originally a citrus farm. Join local community activists, leaders, artists and heroes on this walk through the community and its local landmarks. Showcasing Orange Farm’s rich performing arts tradition, the walk includes various performances by local dance, theatre and music groups.
In particular this #JoziWalk shines a light on the often-forgotten township of Orange Farm. Done in the style of a community pride, the local residents invite Joburgers into their tight-knit community.
