Join Lucky Nkali of Black Bite Productions cc. for a guided cycle through the northern township of Diepsloot.Cycling within the township is often not for sport or leisure; instead bikes are seen as a cheap yet reliable mode of transport. Diepsloot resident Nkali offers a “kasi” cyclist’s perspective on cycling and life in Diepsloot while meandering the township's narrow winding streets making visits to local artist workshops and public art installations along the way.
Bikes will be provided at the start of the tour.
In particular this #JoziWalk offers a chance to experience Diepsloot on two wheels, raising awareness on the challenges cyclists face when navigating between townships and the city.
