Enjoy four nights at one of the most luxurious lodges in northern Botswana, Savute Elephant Camp is situated within the Chobe National Park, on the banks of the Savuti Channel. The camp, sometimes referred to as the elephant capital of the world, is positioned to take advantage of great views across the channel as elephants come down to drink in the late afternoon at an adjacent waterhole just metres away from the camp’s main building. Savute Elephant Camp is the best places to stay if you want to see Elephant, as well as a huge diversity of other wildlife and some of the most unusual Lions in the world! With a friendly and helpful team, and substantial, luxurious rooms featuring air conditioning, satellite TV and WiFi, Savute Elephant Camp can make a great choice for those who like their creature comforts.The twelve ultra-luxurious tents are on raised wooden platforms with outstanding views of the river. No effort has been spared to make you comfortable! Savute Elephant Camp has excellent facilities, including a dedicated observation deck overlooking a waterhole, an elevated swimming pool that has views of the riverbed and a private, registered airstrip. In addition to game drives in search of the Big 5, guests can enjoy lectures on the wilderness by the resident expert environmentalist. Birders could also be in for a treat: the annual migration of carmine bee-eaters passes over, with these colourful birds sometimes hitching a ride on the back of larger kori bustards.
