BONJ and Jackie Queens combined are made of all things nice – including 20 years in the industry, more features than you have fingers and toes and a shared love for dry jokes. Sisters in arms, whose story began in Cape Town, BONJ and Jackie invite you to witness the carving of their own paths in the intimate enclave of a Joburg treasure, the Roving Bantu Kitchen.
 
Born and bred in Soweto, BONJ moved back from Cape Town in 2017 to pursue a music career and is now on the cusp of releasing her debut album with the acclaimed Jacquel Entertainment Group. Primed by a slew of successful collaborations – with SAMA award winners Shane Cooper and Petite Noire, DJ Maramza and others – BONJ is ready to conquer the world with her explosively funky and fierce brand of future soul.
 
A newbie to the City of the Gold, Zimbabwean born Jackie Queens is still finding her feet but comes having won praise in celebrated acts such as Black Coffee, with the strength of 1000 women of house on her shoulders and a SAMA nomination to boot.  Best described as music with a message, Queens pulls focus on inspiring lyrics to accompany the afro-house, tech and house rhythms presented through her work.
