Comedy and Arts night for Avela

Following the success of our inaugural Matters of the Art event, we will be hosting another night of comedy, poetry and other performances to support of fifteen people from across continents that will soon embark on a life-changing expedition to Everest Base Camp - not only as a personal challenge but to raise funds for thousands of South African children who suffer serious burn injuries. The group will proudly fly the flag of the Avela Foundation in collaboration with the Smile Foundation.

Proceeds of this event will help children with burn injuries on their road to physical and psychological recovery.

The event will be hosted by Chat Chitter alongside Cape Town’s top up and coming young artist that will provide a meaningful experience for the evening.
