ONLINE ENTRIES NOW CLOSED - BUT YOU CAN ENTER ON THE DAY!Our annual Applewood Harvest Festival is now in its third year on the local social calendar, and we are very excited to welcome back old friends and new, to a fun day in Apple Country.
The morning of Saturday, 5 May will commence at Applewood with a bang, starting with an 11km Trail Run meandering through the lovely countryside surrounding our school. Shortly after, our 5km Fun Run will get underway, where runner of all ages and abilities get to enjoy the route through the Dennegeur Orchards ending, as it begins, at Applewood. As always, TruCape is sponsoring our Trail and Fun Run and there are always lots of exciting prizes.
For those wanting to spend a more leisurely Saturday, our Market gets into full swing mid-morning, where we celebrate the fruits of our harvest in the form of award-winning wines, top quality craft ciders, pink gin and an array of delicious produce from our fertile Valley. We are delighted to welcome back our wonderful local restaurateurs such as Peregrine Farm Stall, Pool Room and The Hickory Shack, while this year our food offering takes on a delicious Spanish flavour with the introduction of Chicas. An exciting array of craft stalls will be displaying top quality homeware, objets and things of beauty.
This year, we will be expanding our range of children’s activities to make sure lots of fun is had by all ages. From zip-lining to pony rides, face painting to archery, we can guarantee a day of good old fashioned fun.
We plan to close off the festivities with live music at the school grounds on the Saturday. We will be inviting families of the School as well as followers of our local talents to enjoy a leisurely, late afternoon of top quality music.
