‘Imaginaria’ is a place where your imagination lives. We invite you and your whole family to come visit the land of ‘Imaginaria’. This heart-warming and inspiring show is performed by 30 children who are part of the SisOnke Social Circus an animal free, community upliftment project with the mission to bring the different communities of Stellenbosch together through the medium of circus. The show will be held at The Shed, Santa Road, Stellenbosch.
We like to think of Sisonke as a new world circus. We do not support animals in circuses neither do we encourage the selling of the typical circus sweets like candy-floss or soft drinks. You can expect fruit-kebabs, popcorn cooked with coconut oil and healthy flavoring options, muffins, vegan options, free-range egg sandwiches, free-range boerewors rolls and hamburger. We will also have beautiful shops with leatherwork, crafts, flow toys, jewelry and clothing. For the adults we will have a bar and we encourage you to bring a picnic blanket and come and enjoy the countryside with us while your children play in the play zone.
From the show you can expect comedy, drama, aerial arts like silks, lyra and trapeze, juggling, dance, flow arts, acrobatics, adagio and so much more. We will have opera singer, Svetlana Ivanova and singer, Nadiah Charis Mony, joining us for a live performances with the circus show. We are also super excited to be joining forces with another upliftment project “The Palmstringlets” a children’s violinist group from an outreach project from Masiphumelele informal settlement performing with SisOnke!
This is a fundraiser show and all the proceeds go to keeping SisOnke running. What a beautiful way to support a community upliftment project!

Doors will open two hours before shows start and there will be tuck-shops, vegan food, free-range hot-dogs and burgers, market, bar for the parents, play zone for kids, face painting and more so come and enjoy the day with us!

EFT payments will shut down 3 days (22nd May) before show but credit cards will be able to be made up till 15:00, Sunday 27th May

Children younger than 2 years old can get in for free but must sit on a parents lap. No prams in the seating area please. If you would like to make a donation there will be a donation table. If you are financially struggling and would really like to bring your family to watch the show please contact [email protected] and we could exchange some volunteer work for tickets!
