Home Birth is a valid and safe yet overlooked birthing option. Here in South Africa, we have an alarmingly high caesarean rate. Women are realising that in a hospital environment their options and freedom to give birth as they wish, are often limited through hospital routine protocol and intervention.Anyone who is thinking of having a home birth, has had a home birth, wished they had a home birth or has supported someone having a home birth is welcome.
