His and hers jams in partnership with Eyethu Lifestyle centre and Toms music store will present the Soweto International Jazz day. On the 30th of April 2018. Soweto will be part of the international community, jazzing it up Soweto style.
This event features musical acts which have huge support in the alternative youth culture space. This multi-media platform is presented in a form of live music, arts exhibition and a discussion on the "current state of South African Jazz music". The discussions will be held during the day (13:00 – 16:00) free open to public by some of industry professionals, music collectors and musicians with the main show from( 17:00) till( 2am) with the entrance of R100.
The event will draw jazz lovers from all over Gauteng, tourist and the local community of Soweto. Celebrating communities’ rich diversity and jazz heritage.
Contributing to the developing Soweto arts economy and building a sustainable arts industry.
Jazz discussions collectors jamming and live performances from Thandi Ntuli ,The Brother Moves On , Iphupho L'ka Biko , Karabo Mohlala , Smanga Ngubane ,Philile including dj sets by Muntu Vilakazi ,Thuli G and Mr Mix Masala.
Our Jazz discussion panellists will be Tumi Mogorosi, Khaya Mahlangu,Nothemba Madumo,  Mthuthuzeli Ndlebe and Ray Maseko.
The event will take place at Eyethu lifestyle centre in 00651 Tshabalala ST Mofolo Cenral Soweto venue. This event is part of the international jazz day taking place across the world.
