Earth Hour Waterless Dinner

Sat Mar 24, 18:30 - Sat Mar 24, 21:30

Jetty Number 2, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town

ABOUT

The Waterless Dinners are inspired by the Studio H research project S/ZOUT.
S/ZOUT, voted one of the top 10 sustainable foods on show at 2017’s Dutch Design Week on dezeen.com, investigates the ongoing water crisis affecting the Western Cape by exploring the use of sea water in agriculture. Agriculture uses 69% of the world’s fresh water resources.

In partnership with The Table Bay and The V&A Waterfront, the dinner will be used as a platform to showcase how consumers can join the waterless food movement.

The dinner will not only be focussing on the WWF’s water theme for this year’s Earth Hour, but by incorporating low energy lighting solutions into the dinner, but also shine light on the The Table Bay and V&A Waterfront's sustainability practises and initiatives.

You may park at The Table Bay, please indicate you are attending the Earth Hour Waterless Dinner. Walk through the hotel to the jettys and please do not hesitate to ask the staff of The Table Bay may you require any asssitance.
