Medieval Stunt Show

Elbrus Ourtaev grew up in Ossetia where he excelled in Jigitovka.

Jigitovka was used by the horse cavalry in war time and the riding style was developed to use against the enemy in battle. It later became an art form and a horse sport which has been used in the entertainment industry.

He joined the Moscow State Circus School at age 15 and went on to work with the Moscow State Circus for several years. Elbrus then joined a horse-stunt theatre with Muhtarbek Kantimirov and they performed together entertaining audiences all around Europe.

Elbrus and his team have worked on various television commercials and feature films including 10,000 BC, The Flight of the Phoenix, Troy Fall of a City and Scorpion King as stunt riders and performers.

Guests will be enthralled by the breathtaking stunts performed by the Film Equus crew. They can expect intrigue, archery, sword fighting, horse and rider stunts, formation riding and much much more, which will be supported by a full cast dressed in period costumes.

With medieval jousting the brave Knights will be competing for the hand of the lovely princess. They will be thrilling the audience with their daredevil fire, whip and archery displays before the Jousting tournament commences. The jousting stunts are

amazing, with Knights colliding with the lance of the opponent, to be knocked off or dragged by their trusty steeds at full speed.

The Cossack Riding display will be after the Jousting Tournament and will involve stunts like full drags, Roman riding, hanging next to the horse, sitting backwards on the neck, amazing vaults and jumps to name a few, all stunts are at a very fast pace.
