ABOUT
The Pole Evolution: Pole Battle is a unique concept to the South African competitive scene. Each Division has two Categories e.g. ART and SPORT each category within the divisions will have 4 dancers going head to head; who you are paired with will be a randomly selected contestant within your category. You will battle against one contestant in a knock out round style in order to advance to the following round. Beginner Pole Art and beginner Pole Sport will each have a winner who will then battle it out to determine the overall winner on the night for that division. So in essence, there will be a pole art winner, pole sport winner and overall winner per division, beginner through to professional. You will not hear what the music selection is until you step out onto the stage PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COMPETITION IS FREESTYLE. You will get to see what your opponent does on the stage and each dancer will get one minute, twice to dance ie each battle is four minutes long. You will have 10 seconds to familiarize yourself with the song before the timer begins but once you have touched the pole or 10 seconds has passes (which ever comes first) your counter beginsDIRECTIONS
